Ocean Vuong
Ocean Vuong is a Vietnamese American poet, essayist, and novelist. His debut novel, On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, was published in 2019.
I am reading it, the first novel. I am reading it in Portuguese, so double trouble.

Photography
I am taking long walks in the downtown to photograph some interesting stuff. I found a Masonic temple in Lapa, the discoteques and bars zone, I found these amazing sphinxs on the entrance of the place.
Also check the pictures of the Ney Matogrosso on the Solar dos Abacaxis in Lapa. Super interesting.

I haven't done anything new lately.
I posted the illustration I made of Luigi Mangione, the internet obsession.
After reading Is Luigi immorally hot? by Juliene Posture I made this portrait. I usually create my own covers for the articles I am posting on Bluesky and Mastodon.

Thinking
I have been thinking a lot about human emotion. No more comments. Love is a strange thing, of course.
The past months I was haunted by a neuroscientist speaking about how the Love you put in other person is, finally yours. You can take it with you if the person you loved doesn't reciprocate the feeling. As your drawings or pictures doesn't take with them your ability to produce them.
So, take the Love with you and choose someone who will be able to accept it.
As an Italian descendant Love is super important. As passion or infatuation, always present, as a fruit of all the seasons.
